The Four Years

Heyy!!

Today when I left my university I looked back and four years just flashed before my eyes. Four years? YES! Four years have gone by and its time for me to bid this university farewell.

Four years of things BEYOND fun with my friends
Four years of running around completing projects on the final hour
Four years of avoiding making any girlfriends (Having hundreds of offers of course :P )
Four years of learning
Four years of AIR UNIVERSITY

These four years cannot be explained in words so I want to dedicate this blog to people who have been a major part of four years in Air University

1. Bilal, Taimur & Omar

Seriously I don't think we have anything to say now between us. At least not at my end, I have had a great time with you guys. Football, Bowling, Table Tennis, Gaming, Those Pointless Trips, Savor, Naan Pakoray. From the times to beating each other in fun to the times of sitting around remembering and cherishing old times. I have had the time of my lives with you three and I don't think this university would have been the same for me if I hadn't made three friends like you. The rest we will talk on text and facebook, leaving this blog for mentioning others. Haha

2. BEME Fall 09 Section A

Four years I have been the class representative of this class! Many left us during this time (Zahra, Muzahir, Zubair, Atif) due to many reasons while many new joined (Section C) but this class always remained united and fun and made my four years amazing as well.

Some very important shout outs and one of the most important will go to Chaudhary Muhammad Hamza! He has been a very good friend and one of the most hilarious people I know in this world. I will sorely miss your jokes Chaudhary sahib and remember that Imran Khan >>> Nawaz Sharif.

Wasi haider a.k.a Shah jee, is almost like a big brother although he is younger than me in age but he has just that big and huge feeling about his attitude. A nerd he used to be but now he has turned into a much better form of a person. A more socially accepted version of himself. Stay this way shah jee.

Junaid Irfan Abbasi and Syed Inam, the most unstable duo I have even seen in my entire life. These two claim they are best friends but don't even add each other on facebook but still they are with each other all the damn time. Abbasi on one hand is a drunk version of a maulvi while Inam on the other hand is a multani version of Yokozuna.

Family 420 deserves a mention none the less. The four non stop fun having people I have ever seen and they enjoy throughout the semester and in the end get the highest damn marks. Ultimate all time funny Yazdani, The brains Daarhi, The computer genius yet unlucky due to certain reasons (ahem) Ebrahem and Chikna Thr... Oh I mean Ahsum :D

Hassan Ejaz also another member that has been the quietest yet one of the most awesome persons in this class. His choice in movies and stuff is always class and I can definitely have a blind trust on his choice. Hassan bhai is awe-quiet-a-bit :D

Ahsan Afzaal & Bilal khan I put your parts in the football area, once is enough don't you think? :P
Khurram, Zain, Sherry, Uzair, Maleeha, Atif, Usama Mukhtar and I just can't mention them all. All of you are great and remain the way you are.

3. Bus Number 3

My journey in this bus has been on and off but great is just a small word to define this bus. I have had some amazing times in this bus. Found some of the most amazing people and made fun of every single one of them. Chacha Hakim :), Usman (Rapper) , Usman (Ninja) , Rida (Jalebi Bai), Shahbaz Bhai (Shabbo) , Imran Bhai, Yumna Baji, Anum (Hanger) , Fatima, Subayyal (Noon) , Mansoor (Aloo Chaat) , Saadia (Made in china) , Falak (Fruit Ninja), Maria (Angry bird), Talal (Tom Cruise), Humna (Bhool Bhulaiyaan), Shehroze (Willy Wonka) & Daniya (Silent Movie). Thanks to all and remember all those jokes I made on everyone was just for fun and don't take them to heart and forgive me if I ever hurt anyone's feeling. Thanks for making even going home from university and going to university an amazing time!

I Have No More Words

Football Fans : The Stereotypes

Heyyyyyyy Alllllllllll

First things first , Ramazan Mubarak to all of my muslim readers :) may ALLAH shower blessings upon you and your family in this Holy Month.

Now onto the topic, first of all why am I writing this blog. I would've never written this blog to be honest if Barcelona hadn't lost in a friendly to Manchester United. I agree that Manchester United was the better team that day without giving any excuses and Manchester United fans were trying to prove that they are better than Barcelona by beating Barcelona in a friendly without Xavi, Messi, Alves, Puyol, Pique or Mascherano and comparing that to the Champions League Final?? I Mean seriously?? So I decided to describe some fans of some teams and some other types. Now if somebody fights with me after this than he/she knows it that this is the truth and he/she can't handle it.

1. Barcelona Fans

I am talking about the real Barcelona fans the other types come in later. The real Barcelona fans who are not supporting Barca only in CL finals but are also there for Barcelona during the Copa Del Ray losses. Who were there for Barcelona when there were no trophies to boast about. These Barcelona fans are very few, very few indeed. Barcelona & Europe maybe filled with real Barcelona fans but in Asian or African countries like Pakistan, India, China, Egypt and others they are very few. A true Cule will always support his team in thick and thin and most important for a true Cule is the element of respect. A true Cule can be recognized by being the bigger person and accepting the loss without giving excuses and giving respect to the other team which it deserves. Some examples can be the standing ovation Barcelona fans gave to their biggest rivals Madrid or the respect they gave to Van Der Saar after his final match in CL even after winning BUT there is a downside as well because once you are a Cule every other team just looks boring to you. A Cule will NEVER accept the other team is better until unless that team beats Barcelona in a fair match. A real Cule will always have the following traits

1. He/She would consider diving as wrong (May it be one of our own player)

2. He/She would not consider Messi being greater than Barcelona

3. He/She would not forget Johan Cruyff and his services at Barcelona at any point

4. He/She would be a Real Madrid hater without taking respect from some Madrid legends

2. Real Madrid Fans

Again talking about the REAL Madrid fans, to be honest these are some great fans although being fans of my rival team, the REAL madridstas are sportsmen and have the spirit. They hate diving and even boo their own players if they dive and that is why I LOVE when Madrid fans boo Ronaldo when he dives. So as to much that he now mostly dives in away matches :P . Madrid has wayyyyyyyyy more fans in Spain than Barcelona as they are the nationalists. I have nothing but respect for the REAL Real madrid fans, one is even a very good friend of mine. (Other type coming later)

3. Manchester United Fans

Oh Yes lets finally get down to business, now Manchester united has A LOT of fans throughout the world. By A LOT I mean A LOT. When I had to chose a football club then all I heard were Real Madrid and Manchester United fans. Now there are two types of Manchester United fans

A) Manchester United Fans

These are the REAL fans and they are annoying. Manchester united is a great team without a doubt and play good football and I have nothing but respect for Sir Alex Ferguson, Van Der Saar, Scholes & Giggs but these fans are not the greatest. They don't know ANYTHING except that we are right. Manchester United is never wrong according to them even if they loose humiliatingly to a team they will NEVER accept that other team was better and they can make A LOT of excuses. This just comes natural to them and they can fight with you hours without giving sane arguments and never accept that they are wrong. They are a major pain

B) Man U Fans

Now for this part read the upper part and multiply it with 10. These fans are 10 times annoying, 10 times stupid and 10 times fake. These are not real fans and are just following the line "glory glory Man United". I met some Man U fans who didn't even knew that Neville used to be the captain of United, they all said Rio Ferdinand was the captain *head desks* They have no knowledge what so ever and they can give some pretty stupid arguments and sometimes even go against there own team player's views

4. Arsenal Fans

These are the poor needy people of the fan world of club football. They are frustrated, they are desperate and they are hungry BUT if you ask someone in 2009-2010-2011 that which club's fan are you? and he/she replies Arsenal then rest assured that he/she is a true football fan. They have not betrayed their club for whatever times they are going through and always follow this club no matter what and according to me Arsenal is one of those very few very good teams which don't have A LOT of fake fans. I always don't get along with Arsenal fans but the truth has to be accepted and they are football lovers BUT they are also frustrated and poor and they really really need to win a trophy sometimes I think they are like the Amy Winehouse of football fans, frustrated, drunk and needs love but lets hope it doesnt end the same way and they learn something from amy's incident but I have one request to all Arsenal fans

5. Liverpool Fans

The best fans award goes to the Liverpool fans. They have seen the heights with Liverpool and they have seen the low with Liverpool and they will NEVER betray this club what so ever. "You will never walk alone" is their way of expressing love for their club and they always follow it. Liverpool might not be the best team at the moment but according to me they have the best fans atm. Sportsman spirit is complete in them, they accept their defeat like men and they love football. Perfect

6. Glory Hunters

2002 - 2006 --> Real Madrid

2006 - 2009 --> Manchester United

2009 - 2011 --> Barcelona

These are the times when the respective teams earned huge success and had all star players now this is the time when Glory hunters come in which are always there to become a fan of the team which is having the best seasons and winning trophies so all they have to do is support a team through its thick and leave that team once its reaches its thin. These days its Barcelona, everywhere you go Barcelona shirts and all and they don't know a thing about Barcelona, when the match will take place, when and how they won in the season. They know that they won :P and thats all that matters to them. Pakistan and India are filled with these glory hunters and they also play a huge part in giving the other football fans a bad name. These people can rant all day stupid and a lot of other stuff.

7. Individual Fans

You are not a madrista

Now this is very important, remember if you love Lionel Messi it is NOT necessary that it makes you a Barcelona fan as well. You will just remain a messi fan , If you changed your club from Manchester United to Real madrid because Cristiano Ronaldo changed his club then neither you were a manchester united fan and nor have you become a madrid fan now, you will always just be a Shittiano Ro-Naa-Laado fan. Great players always have these and these people try and link themselves with the club as well. Sorry people you are neither Culeans, Gunners, Madristas, Red Devil or anything. You are just that player's fan. Majority footballers in Pakistan fall in either this or the above category and they give a bad name to the Real fans of that team.

Today morning I turned on my Twitter to read the latest news on Barcelona through an account called Barcastuff. All I saw was different football players wishing you to get well soon. I got scared I quickly searched the news column and read about your tumor. The news came as a shocker because I couldn't believe what had happened within a night.

I Wouldn't go in this blog saying "WHY YOU? WHY YOU TO GET THIS DISEASE?" because you know that "ALLAH" tests those whom he loves. It is very sad that you have to leave and in WHAT A SEASON you were having.

• You had already proved that you are one of the BEST Left backs EVER to step in the football ground but in this season in the absence of Puyol you silenced all your critics who said "Abidal cannot fill Puyol's place" by showing that you are also one of the BEST center backs EVER.
• You scored your first goal and took Barca ahead
• You stood like a wall single handedly in front of a great team like Arsenal without Pique & Puyol by your side
• You provided one of the best through balls I have ever seen in my entire life
• Pique made mistakes but you didn't this season

All in all you made Barcelona proud and you made us Culeans ALL OVER THE WORLD proud. Pakistan is a place where football kits are VERY rare to find and especially Barcelona kits and that too of anyone except Messi. But this season I saw your shirt as well lying around in stores but because of having no money I couldn't buy it.

I know while writing this letter that it is almost next to impossible that you will read it BUT if my luck shines because I will leave no method I know off to get you a hint of this letter. IF my luck shines and you do get to read this letter. I just want one thing, NO NO NO, I don't want an autographed t shirt or you to contact me.

ALL I want you to know that CULEANS all over the world are with you. When you will go into that operating room this friday we will ALL be out there in the waiting area , waiting for the good news because we know that a strong man like you will easily pass the obstacles and then ALL of us will be outside your house waiting for your recovery and then ALL of us will be at the Camp Nou waiting for your glorious comeback.

When two BIGGEST players in the world meet together and 2 CERTAIN contenders for THE BEST PLAYER OF THE YEAR it has to be BEAUTIFUL

Now WHO THE HELL DOES HE THINK HE IS? Fights happen between players but YOU CANNOT I REPEAT YOU JUST CANNOT TOUCH A COACH. I Completely back Victor Valdes from whupping some sense into his peanut sized brain. I never respected this man because of his sportsman spirit which is equal to the size of red blood cell's nano version but now I thought he is a good player and now that goes into the ENDLESS PIT

Lurking around Jeffren came for the ball and within 5 minutes of playing time he chipped one over Casillias to make it 5-0 as Barcelona fans and players all around rose their palms showing the 'FIVE' ......... EPIC MOMENT

6. RAMOS'S ANGER SPREE

All Barcelona fans were celebrating, jumping, dancing as Messi was again taking the ball with utmost brilliance towards the Real Madrid area when all of a sudden in mere seconds there were some bodies going down. 1st was Ramos's absolutely horrendous tackle on Messi , then when Puyol came to defend Messi , Ramos shoved him in the face, then he pushed Xavi while he exited after being shown a RED CARD , Casilias also took his shot at Pique and shoved him. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL FOOTBALL BY REAL MADRID , SHAMEFUL

In my point of view it wasn't the 5 goals that disgraced Real madrid , no no no those five goals humiliated them

It was their crying and bad sportsman spirit that disgraced them. Shittiano push then ramos. In total of 7 yellows cards and 1 red card

OMG.... A Brazilian? In The Top 10 Disappointments? Aaaahhhhhh....... Yes he is and there is another so don't worry. When it comes to the Brazilians we expect nothing but the best and Gilberto Silva has been among those who hasn't been in their best form while A LOT was expected. He has been slow with his runs, rough with his tackles and slow in giving passes. So he open up my list at number 10

The African wonder, the Eboue effect some of the freaky names for this man but well the Eboue effect had some side effects. He is the Spanish captain, A LOT was expected from him when this World Cup started just like how he played in the Euro cup taking Spain to the championship.In this World cup well all I can say is finally the poor guy fell victim to the the curse of Real Madrid. The curse of Real Madrid is an urban legend which has shown us the demise of great players like Roberto Carlos, David Beckham, Van Nisterlooy & Zidane. Casillias fought but he has finally given in and a poor performance by the Spanish goal keeper. I think Valdes should be given his well deserved chance

When all the girls would have started reading this blog they would have crossed their fingers and started praying "NOT KAKA..... NOT KAKA" but I am sorry ladies. I wanted to see him play but he hasn't and he has to be a disappointment. 2 Matches, No Goals, No good passes or assists, chances missed plus 2 yellow cards in one match to get a red and being sent off.
